Adaptly, a Facebook Marketing Partner, announced recently that they’ve been given access to Instagram’s ads application programming interface.
A handful of companies this month have partnered with Instagram to be able to schedule advertising, and now Adaptly clients can do the same.
Adaptly’s co-founder and CEO Nikhil Sethi commented on the news in a blog post:
We are pleased to have early access to the Instagram Ads API and have already launched campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world. The addition of Instagram media opportunities into the Adaptly platform has further enhanced our industry-leadership, particularly in the areas of video and mobile ads.
Adaptly enables marketers to reach more than 300 million monthly active Instagram users and offers targeting through Facebook demographic and interest data. The platform will support Instagram campaigns in a number of international markets, including the U.S., the U.K., Canada, France, Australia and Germany.
Travis Freeman, deputy vice president of social media and content at Sears Holdings, described what the company can do now that Adaptly has partnered with Instagram:
As we are looking to stay innovative and reach our members and customers where they are, Instagram becomes a key priority for us across all our brands. Creating a deeply integrated digital strategy is a key priority for us, and with Adaptly?s Instagram solution, we now have the ability to reach our members and customers through all of the major social media platforms with a single strategic partner.
