You may remember that last autumn we heard that Wii U production was ending shortly in Japan. Well, it turns out that it is now officially finished as the company concentrates its efforts on its next video gaming platform, the Nintendo Switch. The announcement was made by Nintendo on the official Nintendo Japan website under the Wii U hardware section. The site states that production has ended for the legacy platform but notes that this is domestically for Japan.
