On the heels of the game’s significant Foundation Update, Hello Games has vowed to roll out additional features for No Man’s Sky in the coming weeks and months, and it appears land-based vehicles are one such feature.
First spotted by Reddit user eegandj – and relayed by Eurogamer – hidden update files make reference to a buggy vehicle, replete with details on tires and tracks. To illustrate those findings, a mod was created using this purported blueprint, and you can catch a glimpse of the imported model via the YouTube video embedded below. Hello Games is yet to announce anything official at the time of writing, though the addition of terrestrial vehicles does chime with the studio’s revised approach to No Man’s Sky – the base building mechanic, farming, and whatnot.
No Man’s Sky received its landmark Foundation Update earlier in the week, and we’ve cut through the noise to present to you the Top 5 new features included in said patch.
