While gamers usually get a lot of shooters each and every year, it’s on a whole other level this 2016. Not only did we get a taste of Blizzard’s first foray into the genre (even if Overwatch isn’t really a shooter), but DICE has also released a major entry in its best-selling Battlefield franchise as well.
And of course, there’s the annual Call of Duty game to add to the mix as well. Speaking of Call of Duty, the studio that created the franchise and its two most iconic entries — Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 — Respawn Entertainment, is also releasing its Titanfall franchise on PlayStation platforms for the first time with Titanfall 2! It’s never been better to be a shooter fan.

Unfortunately overshadowed by Overwatch?s release, Battleborn is in no way a bad multiplayer/MOBA hybrid. And given how it?s cheaper now, and there?s no shortage of post-launch support, giving this a try might not be a bad idea. Just remember that it doesn?t play nearly the same as Overwatch as some people might make you believe.
