Review aggregator Open Critic has revealed that the review embargo for The Last Guardian will lift on Monday, December 5 at 7am PT/10am ET. The game will then release on December 6 in North America, December 7 in Europe, and December 9 in the UK and Ireland for PlayStation 4.
According to images posted on NeoGAF and Reddit, copies of The Last Guardian are already showing up in stores, so be aware of possible spoilers appearing before the official launch on December 6. As we learned last month from Fumito Ueda, manufacturing on The Last Guardian finished in early November.
While it’s unclear how big of a download the digital version of The Last Guardian will be, we do know that it will unlock at 12am ET on December 6 in North America.
If you haven’t seen it yet, PlayStation Japan uploaded a video introducing Trico and offering lots of gameplay, which you can see above.
