EA Mobile announced the launch of Keysplosion in Plants vs. Zombies 2 on mobile. The update will allow players to unlock the game’s 11 in-game worlds for free.
With this update, the worlds within the game will be reordered to “introduce bigger challenges and higher stakes.” Plants vs. Zombies 2 currently features 312 levels for players to complete.
Elsewhere, EA Mobile announced that a Big Brainz event is coming to the game Thursday (Sept. 29). The event will run through Oct. 12, and it will feature big-headed zombies. As part of this event, players can already purchase the new Apple Mortar plant for $3.99.
The Apple Mortar will launch projectiles down three lanes, and these projectiles can stun enemies. In addition, when users power up the Apple Mortar with plant food, the plant will launch projectiles across the board that deal splash damage to enemies.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
