Inspired by the era of 8/16-bit adventure-action RPG’s, High Strangeness is a clever mash-up of both 8-bit and 16-bit, in what the developer Barnyard Intel is calling ’12-bit.’ You can switch between 8-bit and 16-bit graphics, necessary in order to solve puzzles and get through the game. Published by Midnight City, it’ll be coming to the eShop for the Wii U on May 16th. The game looks like it’ll tug at your nostalgic heartstrings, but also offer something new and different, so it’s still entertaining and relevant. Take a look at the screenshots, and see if it tickles your fancy.
